The spacious holiday accommodation is approached via a level concrete path from the off road parking area. The front door leads into the conservatory. In addition to providing a dining area, this room is perfect for relaxing with a book or just letting your thoughts unwind. The windows look over your own lawned garden that contains hardwood furniture and portable BBQ. The garden is bordered by walls and hedges and is dog-proof and private. The conservatory leads into the kitchen. If you are feeling particularly industrious there is ample equipment and worktop space to produce a full “Sunday lunch” Appliances include a toaster, kettle, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and an electric oven and hob. Leading off the Kitchen in an L shape is the comfortable living room. There is an electric “wood burner” that enhances the atmosphere. For your entertainment there is a radio/ cassette/CD player, a satellite Television and a DVD player. There is also a small collection of books and some CDs and DVD's. From either of the two windows you can see horses, sheep and cattle grazing in the adjoining fields. You may even see a fox, hare, heron, kestrel, goldfinch, or any one of the number of wild life species we have in the area. From the living room, through an inner hall you will find the tastefully decorated bedroom with its double bed. The window to the front looks over a garden to the quiet road beyond where you will often see a herd of cows travelling to and from their twice daily milking routine. Next to the bedroom is the large bathroom with its bath, WC, wash-hand basin and separate shower cubicle.
The cottage is centrally heated.
“This must be the most comfortable and best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in.
The spacious bathroom was a particular treat. Thank you for a most enjoyable week”.
